The Consumer Council for Water website also has a list of water company contacts – get in touch with it if you have any problems making arrangements with your water company. It's also worth noting that bottled water isn't recommended for making baby formula but if it has to be used, NHS Choices provides guidelines. Plus see our Cut your water bills guide for full cost-cutting help.

If your baby is small enough to sit on your lap while watching the film, they can go for free to screenings with a U, PG or 12A certificate. However, it does say it's at the manager's discretion. Odeon also runs 'Odeon Newbies' – special film screenings that have brighter lights and lower volume especially for parents and guardians with new babies. Adults pay for a usual ticket and under twos go free.
A popular offer from Huggies. At this site, you can request a voucher, redeemable for £2 off Pull-Ups Potty Training Pants at participating stores. These are purposely designed for potty training and feature stretchy sides and fun Disney design prints. A short registration is required (it only takes a minute or two). Some supermarkets retail the item at £2 from time to time, making it effectively free of charge in some instances.

A bit of background - we're not in the best financial position at the minute (but I appreciate there are thousands is worse situations so I should be grateful). Between me and DH, we have approx £17000 of debt that we are working at paying off. We are making just-over the minimum payments and after a big wake up call, we have cut the credit cards up so they cannot be used so we cant add to the debt.

Babies might be little angels most of the time, but they sure do know how to clear out your wallet. I was in disbelief each time I packed up a diaper bag for a day trip or a suitcase for travel how much babies really do need. Don’t worry you will eventually find the perfect method to grab all your things, pack up and head out the door. The thing that really gets me is how much it costs to buy all these new “things” that your baby apparently needs. It’s all tiny, so it should be cheaper right? Wrong! Here’s the positive twist though, there are actually so many options for free baby stuff out there for moms and you should not be afraid to take advantage of them. We have pulled together some of the best freebies for moms out there all right here.
