A popular offer from Huggies. At this site, you can request a voucher, redeemable for £2 off Pull-Ups Potty Training Pants at participating stores. These are purposely designed for potty training and feature stretchy sides and fun Disney design prints. A short registration is required (it only takes a minute or two). Some supermarkets retail the item at £2 from time to time, making it effectively free of charge in some instances.
Bought a gift card or voucher worth £100 or more on a credit card? Try Section 75. If you paid for even a small part of the gift card on a credit card – and it was worth more than £100 in total – then Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 may cover you. It states that your card company must refund all purchases worth between £100 and £30,000 in total if you don't get the service or the item you paid for.
Not all gift cards are redeemed. The card may be lost; there may be time decay (expiration and fees) or complex rules of redemption; the recipient may not be interested in the store that accepts the card or be under the false assumption that not using it will save money for the giver. It has been estimated that perhaps 10% of cards are not redeemed, amounting to a gain for retailers of about $8 billion in the United States in 2006.[5]

What does an administrator consider when deciding whether gift cards should continue to be accepted? The administrator's decision is based on a number of factors, including how many gift vouchers or gift cards are in circulation, the impact of accepting gift cards on other creditors, the likelihood of achieving a rescue package for the retailer and the relationship between the business and its customers.
From April 2011, this was restricted to the first child only, so you can't apply if you've already got kids under 16. However, if you've already got kids and are expecting twins or triplets, you'll probably still qualify. If you're adopting a child or becoming a surrogate parent, you might also be able to get the grant. Make sure you claim within 11 weeks of the due date or within three weeks of giving birth.

That's nice. A gift card makes a much nicer present than cold hard cash, doesn't it? Er, no, not really. You may not like giving cash as a Christmas present, but it's a much better way to give than purchasing a gift card. Cash is less risky, more flexible and guarantees the person you're giving to will be able to spend the amount you're giving – even if their favourite store goes under.

WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CARD. Used a debit card or spent under £100 on a credit card? Try using your card's chargeback facility. Visa, Mastercard and American Express may return your money. There's no limit on how much you need to spend in order to make a claim (though on Mastercard, you must spend a minimum of £10) but you must claim within 120 days of something going wrong. But this is a customer service promise, not a legal obligation. See the Chargeback guide for how it works.
I’ve included the formula companies because they do offer pregnancy and baby freebies, but just be warned they will have subtle formula and follow on milk messages, which you don’t need – even if you bottle feed with Infant formula, it’s better to stick with the first formula rather than switch to follow on milk. They aren’t allowed to advertise their infant milk before 6 months, so getting you on board whilst pregnant is a way of getting round the advertising ban. Onto the offers – Cow & Gate offer a free pregnancy diary and cuddly cow when you join up to their baby club. Similarly, SMA infant formula have a pregnancy club which offers surprises, information and competitions. Aptamil has offers, expert advice and discounts.
